Cetirizine withdrawal. iykyk

I thought I had been tapering off properly. Actually no, I didn’t – that’s a bit delusional. But I was starting to go from daily to sporadic use and was doing good and thought maybe this would be the year withdrawal would spare me. But nope. I’ve been off it a hot minute (few days?), and am now itchy on every surface of my body. EVERY SURFACE! Maybe it’s something else but I have no other takers for blame at the moment.

I can’t believe I have to go through this every year or suffer debilitating spring allergies for months. And no, others don’t work as well or have worse side effects. Loratidine makes me feel almost manic so I guess itching is better.

Allergies are wild.

The immune system is wild.

And by wild I mean complicated, largely not understood, and kinda fascinating.

But I prefer to study it, not experience it. K thanks.
