CC is a biologist who works as a full-time editor in academic publishing and a part-time instructor at a local college.

She lives with her partner in a rented too-tiny home in Philadelphia with their blended dog family. They are working towards their dream of leaving the city to somewhere more rural in South Jersey.

She dreams of writing more, so here she is, back to blogging. In 2026, she decided to create a Substack as part of her new year’s resolutions, realized she despised the platform and returned to blogging even though she had sworn it off and deleted her 10 year old blog in 2024.
